Reading a Run
ArchiveRequests as the operational view, and what each status actually means.
Every archive, restore and delete lands in ArchiveRequests, whatever raised it. This is the table to look at first.
The columns that matter
| Column | What it tells you |
|---|---|
Status | Success, Partial Success or Failure |
| Mode | Archive, Restore or Delete |
| ObjectType | Workspace, Folder or Document — the scope of the request |
| SuccessProcessedCount | How many documents the service believes it processed |
| RetryCount | How many times it retried. Zero means nothing needed retrying. |
| CreatedAt / ProcessedAt | When it was raised and when it finished — both UTC |
| Errors / HtmlErrors | The error text, when there is any |
| RuleName | The rule that raised it, or NULL for a Work 10 action |
Reading a status
| Status | What it means | What to do |
|---|---|---|
Success | Everything selected was processed | Nothing |
| Partial Success | Some documents did not process — usually checked out, or a retry ceiling was reached | Investigate. This is the status that needs a human. |
| Failure | The request could not proceed at all | Check the service, the iManage service account and the storage target |
Note Partial Success is neither a synonym for failure nor a synonym for done. It is the single most useful status to teach a firm to recognise.
